Introduction

HEC-RPT is a visualization tool designed to facilitate entry, viewing, and documenting of flow recommendations, in a real time public setting. The user imports flow data and then defines systems (subject of interest), state (dry, average, wet year) and flow types (low flow, pulse flow and flood flow). HEC-RPT allows groups to reach water management decision by displaying historical records against proposed management scenarios.

HEC-RPT key feature is that it allows for unlimited states to be defined with the use of a scripting language called Jhython. The program is developed using the Microsoft Windows operating system.
